These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of PechPay, a digital wallet and payments product operated by Pech Group Holdings ("PechPay", "we", "us"). By creating a PechPay account, you agree to these Terms.
You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract under Nigerian law to use PechPay. You are responsible for providing accurate information during signup and identity verification.
PechPay lets you hold a NGN balance and use it for peer-to-peer transfers, bill payments, merchant payments, savings pockets, foreign-currency conversion, and other features described in the app. Some features carry a fee, which is disclosed before you confirm the transaction. Wallet limits depend on your KYC tier, as required by CBN regulation.
We are required to verify your identity (BVN, NIN, government ID) before granting higher transaction limits, and to monitor transactions for suspicious activity under Nigerian AML/CFT law. We may request additional verification, delay, or decline a transaction where required by law or where we reasonably suspect fraud or illicit activity. See our AML Policy for details.
We may suspend or close an account that violates these Terms or applicable law.
PechPay is provided "as is." We work to keep the service available and accurate, but we are not liable for losses arising from your failure to safeguard your credentials, from third-party banking or telecom outages, or from circumstances beyond our reasonable control. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be excluded under Nigerian law.
We may update these Terms as the product evolves; material changes will be announced in-app. You may close your account at any time, subject to settling any outstanding balance and our regulatory record-keeping obligations.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
